Zinfandel typically known as a California grape, has been cultivated by the Gunkle Family Vineyard in the Columbia Valley. Pheasant Valley Primitivo is a mystic wine originally from Puglia (Southern Italy). It is believed to be the wine served at the Last Supper and the first Zinfadel clone from which it inherited parts of its name, "Primo". Well-structured, robust, hearty and jammy with aromas of ripe cherries and pepper, this won't be the last supper you'll have with this wine.
